Following the Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia excursions to the Erongo Region and Gocheganas Lodge respectively, the finalists received royal treatment from sponsors leading up to the crowning ceremony.

The Miss Namibia Crowning Ceremony Judges include Principal Judge Gerine Hoff, McBright Kavari, Dr Esperance Luvindao and new additions Maguire Mulder from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company and UNICEF’s Helena Kandjumbwa who have already completed the interview with on stage judging to be done today, Friday, 12 August 2022.

The Pageant announced Miss Teen Namibia judges Andeline Wieland as Principal Judge, Ilke Platt, NBC’s Beaulah Boois-Beukes and former Miss Namibia winner, Nadja Breytenbach who were tasked with selecting the overall winner yesterday, 11 August 2022.

The organization is looking forward to hosting an actual live event with performances ranging from KP Illest to Adora and show hosts announced Adriono Visage and Miss Namibia Beauty Pageant Patron, Michelle McLean supported by National FM Presenter, Franklin Shitaleni backstage. NBC Corporate Communications Officer and Miss Teen Namibia Judge, Beaulah Boois-Beukes said: “The Miss Namibia Beauty Pageant prize package has improved tremendously, there are major upgrades in prizes this year and we cannot wait to reveal them!”

Miss Namibia Beauty Pageant Director, Umbi Karuiahe-Upi added: “The Miss Namibia Beauty Pageant not only gives young women the platform to grow individually and create social responsibility causes for the greater good but also highlights what Namibia as a country has to offer the world. Showcasing Namibia on international platforms promotes tourism and interest in the Sub-Saharan country.”
